(LOT #152) 1911 M116 Sporting Life Ty Cobb Blue Background
There are two Cobb portrait variations
in the M116 Sporting Life series - the Pastel Background and Blue Background.
Here is the more scarce light blue background example. The card is VG/EX,
but was downgraded to GD due to a horizontal crease about 1/4 way up from the
bottom of the card. The card is well centered and attractive. This would be a worthwhile addition to your collection. Back has the desirable blue ink 5¢ ad
variation.
