(LOT #155) 1911 T205 BROAD LEAF (Black) Al Bridwell

Broad Leaf in black is considered to be the 3rd scarcest of all the T205 back variations - next to the Drum and Hindu.  The black Broad Leaf is considered more difficult than the brown Broad Leaf.  This card is unique because the black Broad Leaf and bio back was struck multiple times at the printer.  This would be considered a printer scrap even though their quality control might have missed this error before packaging the card with Broad Leaf cigarettes.

It is rare to find a print oddity from the T205 series and this should command a premium price at auction.  It is always nice when an oddity is combined with a rarity - in this case the multiple strike, and the black Broad Leaf back.  Don't miss out on bidding on this lot.  You will never find another comparable example like this.
