Lot Description  

(LOT #206) 1949 Bowman #224 Satchel Paige

Paige played his first game on July 9, 1948 for the Cleveland Indians.  This lot is a 1949 high number of Satchel Paige's Bowman rookie card.  Famous HOF pitcher of both the Negro Leagues and Major Leagues. Graded SGC 30. A really nice card with a small crease in the upper left on the back of the card which lowered the technical grade.
