(LOT #202) 1887 N172 Old Judge Mutrie & 1893 N135 Talk of Diamond

A pair of 19th century cards:

1) 1887 N172 Old Judge of Manager James Mutrie (Seated with Derby) in a PSA Authentic holder.  This card looks VG/EX except the top border looks to be trimmed and the reason for the PSA Auth grade. Mutrie was a baseball pioneer.  He was the cofounder and first manager of both the original New York Metropolitans and the New York Giants.

2) 1893 N135 Honest Long Cut - Left on Base - Talk of the Diamond in an SGC 30.  Excellent graphics on this card.  Pictured on the left is the drawing of a baseball player, and on the right is a comic drawing.  One of the more desirable sets that you just don't see cards from very often.
